Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Ripple. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Ripple.

1. ABOUT THESE TERMS
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Ripple mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Ripple Social, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Ripple," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Ripple Social, Inc.
By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
2. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 13 years old to use Ripple. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will terminate their account and delete their data.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract and are not barred from receiving services under applicable law.
3. YOUR ACCOUNT
To use Ripple, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your phone number and authentication credentials
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
Ripple uses phone number verification and one-time passcodes (TOTP) for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining access to your registered phone number and any authenticator app associated with your account. You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their permission, impersonate any person or entity, or create multiple accounts for abusive purposes. We reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at our discretion.
4. USER-GENERATED CONTENT
Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you post, share, upload, or otherwise submit through the Service ("User Content"), including but not limited to text, photos, videos, and other materials.
Limited Technical License
By submitting User Content, you grant Ripple Social, Inc. a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license solely to store, cache, and display your User Content to you and the users you choose to share it with, strictly as necessary to operate the Service. We do not redistribute or modify your content, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing without your explicit consent. This license terminates when you delete the content or your account.
Analytics
We may analyze anonymized, aggregated data derived from usage of the Service — including interactions with User Content — for internal product analytics and service improvement purposes. This data is used solely for Ripple's own internal business purposes — including debugging, performance monitoring, and product improvement. Where third-party tools are used to assist with these purposes (such as crash reporting or error monitoring), data is transmitted only in non-identifiable form and solely to support our operations. Your data is never used to benefit any third party's own products, services, or customers, and is never sold.
Your Representations
By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:
- You own the content or have all rights necessary to grant the license above
- The content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
- The content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws
Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove, restrict, or disable access to any User Content at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe it: (a) violates these Terms or our Acceptable Use policy; (b) violates applicable law; (c) infringes a third party's rights; (d) poses a risk to the safety or well-being of any person; or (e) is otherwise harmful to Ripple, its users, or third parties. Removal does not constitute a waiver of any other rights we may have. We are not obligated to monitor User Content but reserve the right to do so.
5. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Harass, bully, intimidate, or stalk any other user
- Post content that sexualizes minors in any way
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Post spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or engage in pyramid schemes or similar conduct
- Upload viruses, malware, or other malicious code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems
- Scrape, data mine, or use automated tools to access the Service without our express written permission
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Service
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards, at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice.
6. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS
Subscription Plans
Ripple offers auto-renewable subscription plans that unlock premium features. Current plan details, including title, length, and pricing, are displayed within the app at the point of purchase.
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID or other payment method will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Managing Subscriptions
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time within the app by navigating to your Profile > pencil icon > settings icon > Subscriptions. You may also manage your subscription through your device's App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
Price Changes
We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will be communicated to you in advance and will take effect at your next renewal. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. We do not independently issue refunds for in-app purchases. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Free Trials
If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel during the trial period to avoid any charges.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Except for your User Content, the Service and all content, features, and functionality thereof — including but not limited to software, design, text, graphics, logos, and icons — are owned by or licensed to Ripple Social, Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade dress, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our express written permission. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited license to use it as expressly set forth herein.
8. COPYRIGHT POLICY (DMCA)
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect users to do the same. We will respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
To submit a DMCA takedown notice, provide the following to our designated agent:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on the Service
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone, email)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

9. PRIVACY
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use the Service. By using Ripple, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, services, or applications. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.
Third-party services used in connection with Ripple may include, among others: Expo, Sentry, Amazon Web Services, RevenueCat, and Apple. We encourage you to review their terms and privacy policies.
11. DISCLAIMERS
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR USEFULNESS OF ANY CONTENT ON THE SERVICE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusions may not apply to you.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL RIPPLE SOCIAL, INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT WILL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ripple Social, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.
14. TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account within the app or contacting us at [email protected]. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Sections 4 (content license for already-shared content), 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 16 survive termination.
15. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property rights.
16. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. FORCE MAJEURE
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of our obligations under these Terms arising out of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, riots, government action, internet or telecommunications failures, power outages, or failures of third-party infrastructure providers (including cloud hosting and service providers such as Amazon Web Services). In such events, our obligations will be suspended for the duration of the circumstance.
18. GENERAL
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ripple Social, Inc. regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
No Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms do not confer any rights or remedies on any third party.
